A security dealer approached us with a tough challenge: they had a portfolio of customers relying on older camera technology—systems that were still functional but lacked readily available documentation from the manufacturer. Without the right technical details, getting these cameras online with remote monitoring seemed nearly impossible. Their current provider had hit a dead end, leaving both the dealer and their customers without a solution.
But we don’t believe in dead ends. Our team kept digging, searching for every possible avenue to make it work. When the usual support channels failed, we didn’t stop—we reached out directly to executives overseas, tracked down the critical technical information, and found the missing pieces needed to bring those systems online.
In the end, the dealer didn’t have to tell their customers to upgrade or accept a delay. Their systems were activated, their customers were protected, and their reputation stayed strong—all because we don’t give up when things get tricky.

Turning Challenges into Better Security
In a high-stakes security situation, tensions can run high—especially when protecting valuable property. A dealer we work with had a client group, one of whom was easily frustrated when things didn’t go exactly as expected. After a theft attempt at their site, our remote monitoring team spotted the intruder in progress and guided local police to make the arrest.
But one member of the group wasn’t satisfied. “What took so long?” they asked. The first signs of movement had come from an upper floor, and they wanted to know why our team hadn’t acted sooner. Rather than deflect, we dug into the footage, retraced the suspect’s path, and found a critical flaw: an unsecured access hatch on the roof—completely off the security system’s radar.
Instead of frustration, the conversation turned to action. With our findings, the dealer worked with the client to upgrade their system and secure the overlooked entry point. What started as a tough conversation became a valuable improvement, ensuring the site was safer than ever.
